Maverick Miles Nehemiah aka Derek Andri Kelly (his true government name) “finds” people. It is a skill set unlike any I have ever seen.

Derek Andri Kelly “found me” on November 30, 2020 via social media. Derek sought me out and exploited my status as a TV police expert, author and credible,  public figure with a law enforcement background to sanitize and legitimize an alleged fraud he has been developing for decades; the reiteration of  “Maverick Miles Nehemiah.”

In April 2022, Derek [Maverick] “found” Sean Williams, an intrepid British journalist, who was later commissioned by RollingStone Magazine to tell the story of “Maverick Miles Nehemiah”. Derek’s attempt to add another layer of legitimacy to his reinvention. It almost worked. “The Con, the Con Artist and Me” published in the October 2023 issue of RollingStone.

Derek Andri Kelly has one of those voices; he knows it and uses it to his advantage. His cadence and intonation are intoxicating. It just pulls you in. You want to know him and then you want to help him. I got – got by my very own “DirtyJohn”.Derek [Maverick] unashamedly asked me for quick infusions of cash (often) as he struggled to pay bills, get “back on point”, “level up” or regain “momentum”. Always with the promise of repayment; which never came.
